Anyway, it's not like we're going to stop celebrating any time soon. Just taking the occasional break to actually sleep and socialize. The rest of the time we're totally on cloud nine.

That's what I thought, too. I guess we wouldn't be engaged if he didn't know me well enough to propose just the right way.

[They are - or were, in his case - superheroes, and still are people with potentially dangerous powers. They wouldn't choose to spend their lives with someone else unless they were certain.]

Now I've gotta figure out what to do for him.

I thought about it, but... I don't know. Wouldn't it kind of interfere with his shapeshifting?

[He lifts his hands, spreading is fingers, palms-out.]

The ring fits me now, but what if I hands suddenly grew four times bigger, like Hulkling's?

[She glances down at the ring and winces as she imagines just how painful it'd be if Billy's fingers suddenly tripled in size. Ow.

Do you think there's some way you can get it magicked to change in size with him? There's got to be someone around here who could do that.

[He fidgets a little uncomfortably at the suggestion, but not as much as he might have a couple of months ago.]

I... considered that, actually. I'm sure it's possible. But I don't know if that sort of enchantment can be made permanent or if it'd have to be, you know, 'topped up' after a while. Magic can be tricky like that, and I don't want to accidentally hurt him.]

What about putting it on a cord or a chain? Something he can wear around his neck that's lose enough that it won't choke him when he Hulkings-out.

[He smiles musingly, looking at his own ring again.]

It would be kind of funny- me with the One Ring, and his is the one on the chain.

[It's a safer thought than... using magic. Which he's totally not ready for yet.]
