[It's been some time in coming. And though they had planned on a New Year's opening, it takes more work than otherwise imagined to build a night club from scratch. It also probably doesn't help when one of the partners decides to move a handful of days before the projected opening night. Things become a lot more chaotic and, well, plans get put aside.

But finally, nearly two weeks after the proposed opening day, things are just about ready to go. There isn't any mistletoe hi-jinks to get in the way. Only a sick friend who, hopefully, will get better before their grand opening next week. Proper advertisement is as important as a well-managed business and it's clear from the way the two girls stand that it was probably Kate's idea to do this all along.

They stand in the entrance of the club, the journal carefully propped to capture them both in frame, as well as parts of the floor and stage of the nightclub. Kate grins at the camera, completely at ease with the advertisement she suggested they film. Wanda stands with one hip jutted out to the side, her hand resting there, the other hanging easily at her side. It is a more confident posture than she's typically seen with, short of those who have seen her in her "Scarlet Witch" persona.]

Hi. Are you bored? Lonely? Cold? Or just looking to get up and move? [It is highly probably this little speach was rehersed multiple times, given the way Wanda speaks them. She smiles, happily enough, though.] Come join us at HQ, then. We're starting the party this Friday at our Grand opening.

[Kate nudges her friend, doing her best to subtly flash Wanda a thumbs up. Then, it's her turn to grin at the camera, utterly at ease and completely winging her share of the speech.]

Drinks are on the house. Don't get caught out in the cold, Luceti. Come to HQ, where the music's always hot. And for you new comers to town? We're still hiring! Interested in working in the hottest club in town? [Never mind that it's Luceti's only club.] Come on by and give us a try.

...I'd recommend the front door. Unless you want to come in via the river side... really, it's up to you! However you'll have the most fun. [Anya is not the only literal one, it would seem.] We're not going to turn everything on until before the party, so if you come by early don't be too disappointed.

That would be more of a splashing entrance, and while that sounds kinda fun, it's so not a winter activity. Anyway, there's not much that can disappoint me around here that already hasn't. Y'know.

... True. I would think it's too cold, too... but you never know, with some people.

I hope HQ doesn't disappoint. I'm very excited to have a place to dance.

It'll be kind of like having the Bronze around. Maybe.

The... Bronze? Is that a club where you're from? [That or a superhero, but she's assuming a club.]

Right. It was a small town, so there was only one club there.

Well... given the size of Luceti... that's probably a good comparison. I use to go to clubs in New York City, but I kept getting banned from places, so I didn't really have that many options.

Oh really? Sounds exciting. Though hopefully you wouldn't get banned from your own enterprise.

[There is a grin in her voice, now.] Wellll... Between being part-owner part-bouncer... I think I should be able to not throw myself out. ... I'm actually really excited about that.

I'm looking forward to it. Any reason why we have to wait until friday?

Just finishing up stocking the bar, and getting the stuff for the music ready. The construction's all done, and the decoration and lights are too, though.

Oh - right, you'd have to do your own stocking, huh? That makes it sound even more appealing, since you have to do actual work to make it come out right. [Even though it's still in the end free labor. Boo.]

Well, it's mostly just... taking the things from the shops and moving them over to the club. ... But yeah, it does feel kind of more "official" that way, yeah. ... Is there anything in particular you're hoping we'll have available?

I'm pretty familiar with what the bar has available, so whatever you have will probably be fine.
